I haven't participated in many exhibitions this year as I've been concentrating on upping my skills, and experimenting with engraving. Now that I'm back in Ireland, I'm part of the Galway Arts Festival. It's such a great festival to be part of. I lived in Galway for years. I did a wonderful portfolio course many years ago in the Galway Technical Institute and the festival that summer was really exciting! It's my first full year since graduating university so this is a nice feeling.
I've been experimenting with printing from glass for a while now, and these pieces were as a result of printing from engraved glass - a wonderful process I embraced during my residency in Pavlína Čambalová's studio in the Czech Republic.
It ends soon, on 30th July in GMIT Cluain Mhuire as part of the Impressions Biennale.
